For more than 10 years we made positive experience in the processing of the soldermask Probimer 65.
Now it is time to terminate this approved soldermask, amongst others due to the increasing demant for halogen free soldermask systems.
The manufacturer Hunstman has now reacted on the market requirement and provides the follow-up product Probimer 65 HF.
Probimer® 65 halogen free belongs to a new generation of soldermasks. This solder resist is solvent developable and was optimized for curtain coating.
Probimer 65 HF has been successfully used in the production for years and surpasses the required values according to JPCA standard. The total halogen concentration after final cure is below 550 ppm.
This solder resist has clear advantages for end users and exeeds the performance of its forerunners. Attached you will find the data sheets for more information.
The final change to Probimer 65 HF will be on 01.07.2008.
We expect no restrictations to your established production processes. For the conformal mask coating some tests might be necessary. Our internal inspections were carried out according to the requirements of IPC-840-D.
